Wow! You guys have serious collections I don’t think i have all of those myself… Nice to see the ‘Planet Ben’ again, section 31 :p
I’m not even sure we have any left at the twisted office….
Thank you for sharing this… you guys are like beacons of light, holding torches in the dark, illuminating the way for us when we get a little lost… we’ll always strive for quality for you…
I used to be a collector of vinyl… particularly 12inch mixes… unfortunately most of it is now slowly warping in my shed.
ZhArKo, you coming to any shows soon? i’ll bring you a lone deranger myself….
He he, I used to love playing “Fancy Vision - PLUG OUT” and “Beast - TROUBLE” (I, I’m in trouble, cause I know tooo mucchhhhh) on 33 after a hard night. Used to mess my head up.
And the Midilitz with the hand written white label. BRILLIANT.
But here’s to you Si. You’re the creator, we just collectors. CHEERS to you and yours!!!
I’ll post when I get my Vaccine cd. Got a mail today saying it has been shipped.
I couldn’t afford to pledge when the whole thing was going on unfortunately, but I knew that I will buy it for sure. And recently got my copy from
amazon uk
Amazing collection. I have virtually no vinyl at all. I think the only vinyl I have here is the Koxbox Stratosfear 12”. I have all of my CDs here, so I’ll take a some photos this weekend… though a couple hundred of the cases are back at my in-law’s place in Japan (lovely of them to act as storage for us).
I’ve been collecting “Goa” since 94, so I have quite a few CDs. I started collecting the “downtempo” stuff early on, with my first being Juno Reactor’s Lu.ci-ana, and followed by Return to the Source’s first release, Deep Trance & Ritual Beats. That’s also the CD where I had my first Hallucinogen track, Spike... I fell in love with his sound.
T.I.P. released Mystical Experiences and I was then completely hooked on the mellow side of Psychedelia… there just seemed to be more freedom with the sound. Then comes the Mystery of the Yeti, and T.I.P.‘s Infinite Excursions... and I discover Shpongle
Been an avid collector of everything “Psybient” ever since… with anything made by Simon Posford being the first thing on my buying queue. He’s the Midas of synthesizers.
Thanks Neuro,
I have since added a few extras to the collection. The 2 twisted DVD’s, Ott’s new album + I am eagerly awaiting my pledged Vaccine. Not to mention some articles of Shpongle clothing, the last of which I purchased at the Shpongle Sydney Concert. Thank you Shpongle a brilliant show.
Me and a mate used to night bush walk the earth over here in Australia and listen to new tracks on our CD walkman and headphones. A truely awesome experience. One day Dyl( my mate) brought along an album he picked up because he liked the cover. We started listening to it one night and we both have never looked back. It was at the time the greatest album we had ever heard. It was Twisted by Hallucinogen. And since then I have been chasing the Posford and affiliates sounds. I remember the day Are You Shpongled arrived. I think that was one of the most psychedelic experiences of my life. Dyl and I heard that album the first time way shpongled and I am sure the way it was meant to be heard. I remember my body separating into each individual atom and all them were dancing randomly between different dimensions. Dyl and I saw Shpongle Live in Sydney too. Brilliant.
Oh dear, i am rambling.
Post us some pics of your Psy Collection, I may even have to dig out all my records too. We used to listen to alot of the same stuff. The Mystical experiences, and Yeti etc. I used to really love the TIP 3D album. Man that used t mess up my head. 3D indeed. Not to mention some of the Flying Rhino stuff too. Too good a time.
I used to love having a vintage turntable until I found my dream CD player, maybe I played 1 or two times each of them, but as a fan they are better showing in my place. All the Twisted albums are hanging on my wall and framed, it makes some kind of nice decoration though
I’m jealous of your collection guys! I gave away first 3 shpongle albums. I just have 4th shpongle, Lone deranger, Vaccine, and couple of Vinyls. But I want moar now after watching those sexy pics

Is that a Phillips LivingColour light in the corner?
