I really don’t understand Simon when he says they tried to convince Storm to put the mask but he didn’t liked it…. I mean…. you are the artists guys! shouldn’t it be you to have the last world on how you want your artwork?
Ha! Yes, it’s our record so we should have the last word…Buuuut….You obviously haven’t met Storm! He may be paralyzed down one side of his body, after a stroke, be taking drugs for his cancer treatment, and has a hernia…. perhaps that goes some way to explain his cantankerous behaviour… but underneath it all, he is an artist… one that i respect and trust… if he gives his opinion, about 85% of the time i will listen to it!
if we just wanted a mask again, anyone of us here could have knocked something up in photoshop… in fact, let’s start a new thread : “What the Shpongle album cover SHOULD have looked like…” - let’s see what you got!
What i want on my record, and what i have paid for, is something from the strange tortured brain of Storm Thorgerson…
I’ll leave the final words on this to Storm himself, from one of his books:

Well of course all this debate is purely rethoric and is just a way to proof/ show how we all love Shpongle and miss the awesome mask on the cover… and just for the sake of this useless debate, I’ll point that the mask is present on the DVD cover and I’m guessing it was also made by storm… :p
well anyway, the cover of the new album ROCKS, is really really great and, even if no mask (which will be inside booklet), I love it!!!!
