First off, congrats to the fishermen for landing this on time as promised! Listening to these samples now, it’s just what I hoped for…lovely moods, textures, instrumentation, delicious glitchiness, and the grooving downtempo vibe that I was craving. Can’t wait to tear the plastic and blast off…

It’s mind blowing beautiful earthy Shpongle land! Love It and what a great direction from what I can hear!

It blew my mind. Every preview. I love what they did to I Am You. The rich melodies and emotional touch is really powerful. Oh and lots of cello-ey stuffs. This album will be legendary.

this one is in serious contention to become my fave…a little premature to state it, i know…but the excitement is undeniable…the sounds are majestic…the rhythms are sublime…can’t wait for it to land already so I can treat my ears with these candies…

Now when Is Benji and Si going to give us samples of the new YB album hmm?!

So I woke up this morning and did the usual routine of opening the computer, head to the shower, come back and check my emails - my eyes went straight to the word ‘Shpongle’ in the email title. Hmm what’s this?? Shpongle pre order ay? they actually made the deadline Go to the website - there are samples of the tracks in the player - Let’s see what we got here..

Set the player going as I got ready for work - Well I found myself stopping what I was doing every few seconds to listen and to actually break into stupid dances (not something I normally do ). Listening to the tracks again at work I find a huge silly smile across my faces and Raj’s flute making my eyes well up with happiness.

First Impressions - I am amazed, ‘joyed’ and childlike. From what I have heard - I am very excited about the full release and need to express a heartfelt thanks to Si and Raj for another instalment of some of the most beautiful thought provoking music I have and probably will ever hear - Looks like you have done it again!

what a stellar release.  every sampled track is outstanding!  i can’t begin to thank simon and raj for another epic release.  shpongle forever.

I remember hoping they would have what I heard of “ineffable mysteries” on the new album after hearing it at the Roundhouse… Which blew my mind standing there hearing the crisp, psychedelic new Shpongolese.

I love how we hear ‘Hallucinogen’ features at the beginning of I am you.

This is definitively as new as “Nothing lasts” was to the two first albums. A very exciting new direction.
“Invisible man” is just meant to be played live!

Hearing Spongolese Spoken Here alone will be worth the wait. That sample is so good.

I’m trying to avoid listening to the samples. This time I want the full experience of listening to the whole album in one go. It’s very tempting though

I’ll wait until seeing them at the Roundhouse and then playing the whole CD through when I get back. Don’t want to dilute the experience!

It won’t dilute the experience. It will just make you more uptight knowing you have to wait to hear the whole album hahaha

Im not going to listen to anything until my album arrives and i can properly give it a listen. 

Bah! I’m all for crashing the servers C’mon, stream the whole thing live..
The world needs it now! If it cuts in and out because of bandwidth, I’ll just think of it as “generative glitchiness”.
