Anyone on here a fan of Ozric Tentacles?

Oh Yeah, Ozrics are fab, and if you like them you must like Gong as well, yes?

I’m sure I read somewhere that SP said Ozrics are one of his musical influences.

FSOL’s Lifeforms is simply divine whenever I need to relax.

FSOL like Shpongle were well ahead of their time in the early 90’s, Dead cities & ISDN what amazing albums>>> grin

Their new stuff under the Amorphous name is very psychedelic…

Yes Gong is excellent too. I remember reading somewhere that they played with the Ozrics.

I think Simon and Raj thank Ed Wynne of the Ozrics in the liner notes of “Are you Shpongled?”

As for FSOL, I’m a rabid fan. I own all of their major albums and I’m starting on Amorphous as well. They’re pretty much all good to chill out to. ISDN and Dead Cities are both brilliant. So massive and epic and like you said, definitely ahead of their time.  grin

FSOL- All of the blessings of Shiva be upon them!

How about Fripp & Eno’s No Pussyfooting or Byrne & Eno’s My life in the Bush of Ghosts?

Warp Technique are damn good too…

My personal favorite chillout album at the moment, well - i`d have to say Younger brothers second album totally got me here, one of my favorites - and i think the reasons are obvious, it is just innovative album in my ears.

There is a lot of really good chillout around, but this one just stepped one step further imo. ^^

Favorite track on the album is Happy pills by the way. just so my cup of tea!

I bought a copy of Val(liam) - Daydreamer which is recent on Sonic Dragon and it’s a very nice & high quality ablum -well worth buying.

Very floaty, with minimal beats in…Deffinatley one I’ll be able to go back to over time… grin
