great idea with FLAC releases, I think…at least for getting money…there can be more interesting stuff…you can make those beatiful CD booklets on flash technology….with animation and other…

I’m not angry or aggravated, so I don’t feel like I’m feeding it. I just want to know if his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck in the womb to come out so negative?? It must be tough day to day for him. Either that, or extremely easy being that delusional.

Anywho, I had not purchased anything from the Twisted store directly before, so I ordered the new CD and DVD to help the cause. I will abstain from listening to the leaks…the samples on Twisted were enough to get me through a couple weeks. It sounds marvelous thus far and I’m looking forward to a deeper listen on my system.

Let’s keep this thread on topic: how awesome I am.

The ignorance and arogance of some people here is mind blowing. Not as mind blowing as “lone deranger” or “are you shpongled” where for me the other day though. Thank god.

“downloading is promotion” yes sure, that’s why most underground labels go down… stupid.

I have one on my website too, download all my music for free and if you like it, donate me something… over all networks and all my releases I’m somewhere around 20’000 downloads, guessing from the feedback and reviews the music seems to be quite ok too.. total donations: 100 Euro (thank you very much for this, It’s highly appreciated!)

Do you know what I did with that amount on my paypal account now? Luckily I have a day job, so I bought pretty much all twisted releases I like AGAIN, I’ll give them to various people I know who listen to twisted music for years but still don’t have the CDs. I can’t say that I really like all that is being done at twisted, but for sure this label is one of the backbones of this scene and if there aren’t enough psytrancers out there to support this backbone I don’t know what to think of the people I see at parties anymore.

Simon, I find it a good move, that you were honest about the situation here. I think a lot of people who rather buy cigarettes, spliff or drugs than music (thinking it would expand their mind more than the music maybe) don’t realize that there ARE NO OTHERS who buy the music.

With “download, like, buy” it’s like with people who get attacked on the street or people who hear screaming in the neighbours house but don’t help or call the police because they believe somebody else would do so. THEY ARE NOT. nobody else is doing what you should.

Yesterday I ordered everything “also quite good” from Twisted that I did not have yet (didn’t buy it before cause I liked the other releases better). And I get the feeling that a lot of people are doing the same thing. Simon, if you can’t notice an increase in Shpongle album sales, can you at least notice a rise in other orders?:) Because there are support actions going on at several sites/forums and people are all saying that they’ll order Twisted stuff!

I’d wish to stay more on topic, but since I haven’t heard the album yet I can’t really say anything about it. Well, I heard the samples and they sound AMAZING but I probably already mentioned that

But maybe is not the best Shpongle album. If “trusted” press guys put music into internet….........check the list and use promo watermarked cd. Everything with sharing this album was started from RU.
