I haven’t even listened to the samples on the Twisted home page. I’m waiting for the release to order the CD and then spending a night listening to it on repeat smile

Listening to a leaked version of the album is horrible. Just wait ‘til the release.

Atta boy.  LOL

I couldn’t wait :(

But to be honest I haven’t listened to the whole thing. I just wanted to hear the one song I’ve been hearing for years on end at Shpongle events, which I found out from the twisted player that its “Walking Backwards…”. Heard it the first time in the summer of 2007. Right after that song he dropped “I am a freak” which at the time I also thought was Shpongle but turns out was to be on a Younger Brother album released soon after.

Brings back so many memories, can’t wait for the hard copy to arrive so I can listen to the rest smile

If you have the money you can always pre order the album now and it will be shipped out to you on the 2nd.

I’m also waiting to listen to the album. Patience is a virtue and it will be rewarded when I receive my hard copy of Ineffable Mysteries from Shpongleland.

We should figure out some weird way to listen to it all at the exact same time.
Then our brainwaves can transverse the cosmos and link together at the inner landscapes of Shpongleland!

It’ll be a massive Shpongley mental orgy.  cheese

The new album hasa lot of Younger Brother influence. Specifically in Nothing is Something Worth Doing

Fact that something like that could ever be captured in a song..

Well it’s just got another listen tonight and it gets stronger with each listen, I thinks it’s stunning and very different to each of the previous albums.

Each album which has come out is always very different to the last but this one I find is very deep throughout.  More influence with live instraments and less processed music on the whole…the tracks which I first heard and thought were a bit odd like invisible suit and no turn have grown quickly..

love it.

Simon is on fire with new Hallu and YB, but this record should have never been released. Nice shit but not Shpongle :/ A HUGE… I mean EPIC disappointment

It is amazing, very mature somehow. Maybe its not as ‘epic’ as previous albums but more straight to your face. Theres still few things that need digesting but overall its very good!

My favorites are also the one you listed. I love this album so much. Definitely my favorite from all the other releases.

The album is evolution of the music. It’s great. I love the move towards organic instruments - the drums, symbals, guitars, sitar, vocals ...
The ‘rough’ start opens up into ... something that cannot be put into words.
I feel the influences behind it. The’modern Floyd’ sound is wonderful (and very thoughtful/provocative). The Younger Brother influences are wonderful. Flute is, as always, great.
It paints a picture, however very different from the previous albums’.
If the music did not evolve, we would learn nothing.

Electroplasm seems much rougher than anything on any previous album. After the squeeling guitar it does get much smoother.
I always felt that previous Shpongle albums put me in space, a space ship, or the Amazon. This album is more human-rooted. Its different and hard to explain. My favorite is ‘Walking Backwards.’

I agree that is way different than Nothing Lasts,  but It seems like a RETURN to the more organic sound of the first two albums. Nothing Lasts seems like the out of place album to me…Although I love Love LOVE them all….

Nice signature cjpience I concur…
