if nobody has heard this album I highly recommend it, along with the rest of his catalog.

but his album is a masterpiece…it never gets old and is just absolutely up there with Shpongle in magic.

If you like this then you’ll probably like Deadmau5 as well. It has that same clicky glitchy feel of Joel Zimmerman’s Deadmau5 stuff. Not as deep, layered or unique as Shpongle IMHO. But not bad for down-tempo glitch. Thanks for sharing!

oh man, i think you are confusing the two… deadmau5 is NOTHING like Kilowatts…

like, really listen to any of Kilowatts stuff… Deadmaus is 4 on the floor house music and extremely minmal.

Kilowatts is more slow breaky (rarely a four on the floor beat) and EXTREMELY layered and psychedelic. just listen to it…

i’d say its closer to like Tipper or something.

Deadmau5 is house/minimal tech.

I’m not saying it’s exactly the same especially the new Kilowatt album that has a very heavy indie-pop/rock vocal presence. It just has that minimal clicky beat feel to it in my opinion (mainly the older Kilowatt stuff I’ve listened to on his website) not as 4 on the floor like Deadma5, just similar in a glitchy way. Kind of like you can just about click anywhere in the track and the drum beat sounds the same. Not that that’s a bad thing in this case just not on the level of Shpongle to my ears. I do like the new Kilowatt & Vanek album though. It has a nice relaxing coffee house music feel to it which I like to listen to sometimes. Like the stuff you can hear on http://www.buzzoutroom.com/main/ internet radio. smile
