I thought i’d chime in with my thoughts on the show:

We went to the friday gig (glad you had a better gig saturday Si ) and once again had a great time(we were at the 2008 gig), the violin and cello were a great addition to the sound! Shame about the feedback issue but hey whats a live gig without feedback hehe.
Thought the interaction between the MASSIVE vid screen and the lights where really great this year (we’re preparing our live show at the mo so im trying to get my head around programing video and the light show whilst running the electronic side of the music (cant afford to pay anyone to do it soooo….) and I came away from the show thinks less is more as long as its fucking BIG hehe).

BTW:I hope your not paying Benji to DJ beforehand cos i swear he just plays the YB cd every year

Anyhoo, great show (and it certainly is a show NOT just a gig), your an inspiration and should be well proud

Oooo actually did you play a little bit of psydubstep at one point? I thought it would be on the album but I cant find what I (thought) I heard at the show on there…..or was it too much Speckled Hen?

Oh dont mention Benji and the Younger Brother CD….I was fuming, and I mean fuming, spitting feathers the lot, we went to see Shpongle last year and I’d been saving my extra special lying down dancing for Younger brother but what does Benji go and do? oh he only goes and plays Younger Brother, now it could be fair to say noone has ever heard of Younger Brother so he had to play it but….thats rubbish and he knows it, I was really sad to hear Younger Brother being DJ’d - especially as Simon, Benji, Chris and Andy were there and I imagine the devilishly handsome Ru was in the building, they could have had a little jam, I wouldnt have minded That Simon, he’s just lazy, anyone would think one set of Shpongalised twisting was hard work, tsh!

That said, I soon got over it and Mr Benji is still pretty fab imho. Now, next time can we have live Younger Brother too? go on….you can do it - just make sure that drummer boy isnt too busy
