It’s cool to see other psychedelic music other people like besides just Twisted and even outside of the general “psybient” genre.  Still, I listen almost exclusively to metal and psybient/psytrance these days.  A lot of my favorites lately as far as psychedelic music aside from Twisted are Bluetech, Phutureprimitive, Vibrasphere and Kick Bong.  I also think a lot of experimental electronic music could be considered psychedelic just in nature at least if not in genre.  Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Mouse On Mars and The Flashbulb are some of my favorites in that kind of area, especially for good breakcore, though they all do more than that.

You just reminded me. The Mars Volta are pretty awesome, both on album & live (have seem then twice). It’s kind of intense punk psychedelia with lots of jamming.

For me, Pink Floyd represents the purest psychedelic music - althought ( some may take this as offence ) i prefer “after Barrett” Floyd way more - in fact, id have to say that Gilmore is in my opinnion, one of the greatest guitarists around - and hes singing is so unique too.

So, Pink Floyd!

Then there is this Finnish Band called Kingston Wall - good psychedelic rock! i`d recommend anyone to get in touch with this music. Also Hidria Spacefolk mught do the trick for you psychedelic crusaders. ^^

Gong and System 7. Steve Hillage practically (re)invented the UK ambient/dub/psy/techno dance scene (with some help from a few others)
