Anyone knows when the Vinyl of the new album is going to be released??

The more i listen to the new album, the more i think its influenced by pink floyd, and a bit more of a hallucinogen sound to some parts as well, and an amorphous adrodgynous sound (esp in invisible man - one of my favourites)

No turn-unstoned has an end-times feel to it, does anyone else think so as well?

On a sideways rant, i started a few tunes on the train on the way to and on the way back from the Shpongle gig, its defo got me inspired to create some music again..

Freddy is towards the end of Electroplasm. The “drunk on life” bit. I’m sure it’s him, but I think that nutter Brian did the bit about “I can tell what you’re doing, you’re trying to send me mental…etc” at the very end of I Am You.

It’s getting harder and harder to wait!  I pre-ordered both the DVD and CD… but they haven’t come yet :(

I should (hopefully) have them by the weekend.  I shall initiate myself into this new sonic creation the way I always have with each Shpongle release… mindblown and smiling.

Has anyone in the United States received the album yet? Mine still has yet to come. I’m a little sad. I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m still in a state of great anticipation.

If it doesn’t come tomorrow my weekend plans will have to change.

hello i am new here, took me about few years to login this forum as i am to lazy for that.
but had to sign up after i bought the last album
so my review for this album is 10/10 for all matters
first it’s the best product album from shpongle for sure, the production is the highest i heard from shpongle.
and the music is much more mature, which is great by me, the 3 earlier albums are amazing , they r just diffrent, and as i grow up and look for more mature stuff, shpongle got me right on time, i played this album when my family came for dinner and it was pleasing, it’s harder to play nothing lasts to my mother, haha.
so si raj and the rest musicians involved, my msg is that it’s just perfect album, got many new ppl into listening to shpongle, it’s muchhhhhhh wider than before, never been so good.
thanks allot for creating such a good music inspire me allot with my work.

Got my CD yesterday, fast enough from UK to Finland.

Didn’t have enough time to start listening though. I feel it’s not good to just “taste” quickly, you need to get that certain feeling and enjoy the whole album.

I also felt a little disappointed at first, I don’t know why, but some more listenings later (all sober so far!) I think that No Turn Un-Stoned is probably one of the best Shpongle tracks ever, and the rest of the album is great, too!

I have to add that my favorite Shpongle tracks so far are a little untypical, it is definitely not Divine Moments of Truth (it’s good, like all Shpongle tracks, but really not my favorite). Amongst my definite favorites: Vapour Rumours, Shpongle Spores, Behind Closed Eyelids, ...and The Day Turned to Night, Dorset Perception, Around the World in a Tea Daze, Flute Fruit, The Esionjim Remix of Once Upon the Sea ...
and then the whole bunch of tracks on the Nothing Lasts album that builds up the tension to the climax of my definite favorite “Shnitzeled in the Negev” which is one of the best things that ever happpened to me on shrooms. Also goes well with mescaline (the melody line can draw amazing burning shapes in front of your inner eye)

I have to yet really evaluate the mysteries album (like on shrooms), but I think I’m really gonna like it even more. I think especially with this album that is a little more like a live-band and very multi-facetted it is like with Ozric Tentacles - if you’re on something it will unfold its magic even more.
