I’ve only heard the album once so far, and I greatly enjoyed parts of it, but other parts I didn’t quite “get”. I suspect the album will grow on me. That’s actually a good thing in my book, if it’s love at first sight (or listen, in this case), there’s seldom new things to discover in my experience/opinion. There was one part with a flute arpeggio which reminded me a lot about Jethro Tull, and I could here lots of other inspiration from 70’s prog. Maybe it was all in my mind though. smile This is certainly not a bad thing by the way.

In any case, I’m looking forward to getting to know the album better.

Listened through this couple of times now… Gets better time after time. Wow!

It’s something new, it’s a little different, but you still recognize it’s Shpongle. Me likes.

Think I listened to the album maybe 20 times now, I must say I’m really happy with the result.

Every single track contains parts that just keep me wanting to listen to them again. And every time I listen to the album again it keeps getting better. Takes a while before it really hits you (although I liked it from the start, but now it’s getting great).

Like someone before me, right now my favorite track is No Turn Un-Stoned, the surprising combination of musical elements, and the harsh electrical rhythm that just takes you somewhere.

For me closely followed by Shpongolese Spoken Here, which is divided in 3 parts that nicely sequence each other, great effects and mood.

Well done, you just keep delivering.

I have been a full time psytrance fan since got my fingers on the at the time groundbreaking “Forever After” made from our danish friends in Koxbox in 1995. It opened my eyes for the genre. The two T.I.P. albums of the same year was next in my record collection and after that i got my hands on Hallucinogens “Twisted” who brought wierd sounds and tunes to a whole new level. The thing that really blows my mind is that Simon and Raja has been around since the dawn of psytrance time but still manages to make creative tunes and renew their music so they don’t give out album after album who all sound alike. After the 3 first album i really did not expect Shpongle to make a record that could challenge and outsmart the previous 3. I was wrong!! IMfS is deeper, stronger and better…S.Posford and Raja Ram never runs out of ideas and creativity. The 4th cd is in my opinion one of the best albums twisted has ever released! No need to meditate for people who don’t know how to do it. Just Let the magical sphongle tunes fill the room and take hold of your body, close your eyes, and relax. Let your mind decode the music and let it show you a new altered reality made from the pictures the mind show you as it blends in with the music and take you on a journey to Shpongleland & back. Thanks for all the joys and all the happiness your music have given me all this years and and for the new album. IMfS is a 10/10 pts album and a tribute to life & mother earth! (sorry for my poor English)
