Got home from work and saw some stuff posted through the letterbox but no cd/dvd yet.   Oh well tomorrow then. Actually Friday is good as it is my day off.

Question for all you DVD-havers, is the soundquality of the gig itself any good?

This is more or less what I came here to ask.  Does anyone know whether the audio is 2-channel, 2.1, 5.1, Dolby, DTS, etc?  I’d imagine that Twisted being who they are made sure it’s high-quality.

Its excellent quality 2.0, I wish it had been made in 5.1 but I bet it wasn’t possible without ruining the stereo quality.  Maybe the next project could be done in 5.1 that would be cool (take note Simon).  I was a little worried about the quality as I listened to the live internet broadcast back in 2008 with the vocals sounding terrible. The DVD is perfect.
I’m about to rip the audio off the dvd so I can put the concert on my ipod.

God, get here already DVD!

I can not WAIT for that package!! I’m on the upper east coast of the US, can’t get much closer without getting wet… so I’m thinking maybe I’ll get it soon.

The sound quality of the Live show is perfect! Great performance, I really enjoyed watching it!!
The interview was also very funny and interesting. Can I buy one of Raja’s stinky headphones on ebay?
I going to watch Shpongled with raja ram & the bonus stuff after I’m done with listening to the album! :D It sounds great!! Invisible Man In A Fluorescent Suit is my favourite track at the moment.
Buy the DVD & the CD people, it’s worth it! Also very nice booklets with the album AND dvd!

my friend rachel, and i went all the way to london to see this show. we actually talked to the stage manager and a photographer for a little while. it was quite an evening. to find out at the end of the night there may be a dvd in the works. for the experience was intense and seemingly as quick as a lightning strike.

now the package is only days away from arrival! not only the dvd but a whole new album to devour/my brain/is already quivering. wut will they have in store for us next? how will i share this dvd with my friends here in maine? 4 years of my ranting shpongle this & shpongle that. the puzzled faces and the furrowed eyebrows were the most response. others begin trying to pronounce it. but even just saying the name brings reactions of the truest form.

i have to say the vibe on this forum is that of extraordinary people! shpongle brings out the best and shows us the world with no fear!

Does anyone have any plans on how they will listen to it the first time?

I’m not sure my friend. Got some exclusive Swiss magic potion (I live next to the place where it all began)and it waits for THE occasion…
Could it be the eagerly awaited package, to revive a special moment?
Or is the music just enough for all everything…

I’ve got a question about the DVD… I was at the gig at the 31st and the DVD was sold there so I’m wondering how can that be!? Was it recorded the day before and all put on the DVD’s just in one day!? Or was it some sort of repetition!? Anybody? (I haven’t bought the DVD unfortunately… really like to see it someday! Got the CD though, Love it! Already listened it for about 15 times or something like that )

Simon has, in his left breast pocket, a tiny warp machine. This machine unlocks its magical shpongly powers only when it knows the whole band is gathered to play live. Saying “blpblpblpblpblbp” into the tiny microphone creates the electrical signals adopted from the future in video format. (Featured on “Electroplasm”). That is to say, the DVD of the concert is created before the concert takes place.

In other words, the DVD is from the 2008 gig.

A quick question to those that ordered the DVD and have NOT gotten it yet: did you pay using Paypal?  I ordered maybe a week ago and the money wasn’t taken out of my account until today, so I would guess that would delay the delivery a bit.

(I mean… there is even some bad typing in the booklet like the last sentence where Simon says something about Electroplasm: This was the first time i had played it in the…. and there the sentence stops )
