Yeah, just got mine today and it was great. Quite interesting to see a full band try to tackle Shpongle. Some parts lost a little something on the psychedelic side, but other parts gained quite a bit of beauty. Around The World In A Tea Daze was an epic finish, though. It played out brilliantly with the band, everybody having a unique role. Watching that song being performed was when it hit me how cool and unique the performance really was.
The Shpongle interview was good, too. It’s always interesting to listen to what Raja says. He’s such a great wordsmith. I could listen to him for hours, hanging on every word.
There is one thing I wish was on this DVD that wasn’t - a DJ/VJ mix like on the Twisted DVD with Ott’s mix. I freakin love watching and listening to that when I’m winding down. I hope you include more of these on future DVD’s.
All in all, the DVD is awesome. A great way to support Shpongle and have a nice experience. And plenty of content so you definitely get your money’s worth. Glad I ordered this.
