chill out rmx, its kinda outro to the original track

Pretty nice, especially the first minute of the track The part with the piano and all, sounds very psychedelic. I don’t hear a lot of the original track and personally I consider that a good thing since Smashing the Opponent is not really my cup of tea. The only thing I don’t really like is that ‘build-up’, it seems kind of out of place and is a bit too.. generic. And somewhere in the middle of the track, before the build-up, you kind of ‘lost’ me (maybe it was too ambient for me, hehe) but in the end you got me again (I was a bit annoyed with the repeated vocals though;))

Actually i listen to this rather ( way more! ) than the original mix ( which i really dont like at all )

Production is nice here, maybe id like to hear a bit more articulative piano, maybe more depth and dynamic range would do it - but its still good! dont get me wrong here. ^^

Where the original track just imitates depeche mode with bad taste, this one actually is something worth listening to - wont open to you at first time - so just let it loop few times. ^^

nice remix. I would recommend slowing it down a bit actually, kind of drawing out the chill atmospheric vibe of it. I’d turn the drums up a bit too so they punch through.

I was actually looking forward to entering that remix contest myself, but figured i’d wait for them announce the prize listing before I diverted so much of my time into it. kind of glad I didnt start it cause I just saw that the “prizes are only available in the republic of south africa”... of all places…they do look like some sweet prizes though
