As you may have noticed I’m not a native speaker, and I do have some problems understanding the lyrics of “I am You”. Usually I am quite good at understanding English, but this one poses a real problem…
As far as I understand them, the lyrics are:

“You are me and I am you. I’m always be with you.
You are me and I am you. I’m always be with you.
You are the summer rain and the moon beams
You are the ..... of my dreams
You are the summer rain…..moon beams
You are the .... ..... inside me.
You are me and I am you. I’m always be with you.
You are me and I am you. I’m always be with you.”

It is driving me nuts because usually I understand 99,5% of everything that is thrown at me in English, but here it’s like whole parts of it are total gibberish and I just can’t understand it, even when I’m wearing headphones…

Can you help me, please?

I’m sure now, I dropped the tempo WAYYYYY down and blasted it

That’s right.  The Sun, the rain.

Of course I was totally off with “I’m” - it has to be “I’ll” of course - now that is a really embarassing mistake which I have to attribute to some beer that I had before…

... and “the sun, the rain…” makes a lot more sense than the summer rain. Now that you said it, I can clearly hear it…
I had no chance of getting the “divine goddess” because the intonation was so off. Well, you only learn from mistakes, so I think I learned something today. Makes it a good day already. Thanks again!

I couldn’t make out divine for a while.  I heard “goddess”, but until I dropped the tempo way down I couldn’t make out divine.  I kept hearing “Deep Eyed Goddess” or “Deified Goddess”.
