Honestly, can we expect any new psytrance material on twisted?

I’m asking, because it seems from the last releases and the direction the twisted label is heading to in general, that it is very less likely.

benji played some new prometheus stuff on the afterparty after the first shpongle concert on friday. it even said its a presentation of the third album, and it was psytrance. so expect another prometheus album in the near future. a new hallucinogen would be awesome too of course, though i dont really believe it will happen, as it most likely would end up as a disappointment to most of the old-school-lovers, simply because you cant keep up the work you used to do like 13 years ago…
still, there is still some psytrance coming from twisted =)

The new Prometheus was fucking insane holy shit! He had the after party twisted for sure!

Damn, I wish I could have come to that afterparty on saturday, but it was freaking far from the roundhouse and expensive…30 pounds, jeeeesus!!

But cool to hear about the forthcoming prometheus album.

I still don’t think we would see a new Hallucinogen album till at least 2011.  I thought Benji’s album was going to be downtempo…

goa is boring. so is pure psytrance.

i don’t particularly care what kind of music this label produces, as long as it continues to be twisted (psychedelic) as hell. in fact, i love it when artists mix genres.

I disagree.
there are so many trancers (and not) waiting for a new Hallucinogen release. Hallucinogen is a pure goa-trance psy-trance moniker if you know what I mean.
At least thats what SP says.
Lots here will agree with me, it’d be wrong not to release a quality trance blowup release after so much time.
Let us not forget who is SP and his mastery producing kickin trance.
thats how I look at it
for making ambient, shpongy chill out music we know he’s doing it as Shpongle as Younger Brother as Celtic Cross as Nomads of Dub etc.

Hello….. i’ve been working on a new prometheus album all year…about 8 tracks are done and its gonna be all wrapped in the next couple of months…..its been taking a while as there’s a few other things on the boil but loving making the album….it certainly ain’t “full on goa/psy trance” dont know what it is really just look forward to getting it out and onto those bloody torrent sites soon…...

1 fast train - 137bpm…lots of blade runnery pads, and morroder style bass,4/4 but not to heavy till the end when it goes a bit mental

2 rush- 128…. bleepy kinda minimal thing but not restrained or minimal at all really…

3 Blue tubes -138 pounding sort of techno thing

4 colt- ambienty bleep thing

5 triplets-144 yup u guessed it its a 4/4 tune done in 12th….

others dont have even working titles yet….and my descriptions are useless but hope u lke it when it surfaces early next year

Beautiful!  I’m looking forward to this.  Triplets @ 144 bpm should be nice and busy.

As much as I enjoyed Robotochan, Corridor Of Mirrors was a level beyond for my ears.  So nice.

ooooh, that’s good news. I’m really looking forward to this as well.

I agree with Neuro that Corridor of Mirrors is the better of the two Prometheus albums, so lets hope the new one tops that.
