i know what you mean about tree of life, tons of symbolism there a lot of it was probably over my head as well, also i can see where youre coming from with Enter the Void as well.  It is a very hard movie to watch at times, its psychadelic enough without psychadelics so i think ill stay away from that one while in altered states.  As far as the dmt scene, i think they did alright with it, it wasnt a breakthru though.  Also on the dvd menu that i rented it had a thing where it would just play the weird vortex looking thing that he saw on a loop, that would be cool to have on while in an altered state.

i watched the flatland movie last night, on a recommendation from this thread, and it really is a great movie. i knew about the book, though i’d never read it, and it totally delivered.

visually it’s a bit underwhelming, but psychologically it’s top notch - a real mind fuck.

cat soup…. i don’t know what to say - it’s one of the best things that i’ve ever watched.
