I accidentally found the source of the sample at the end of “Invisible Man in a Fluorescent Suit”.

“The first two goes, didn’t seem to do anything. Then I took a really big hit… (gasping)... Funny I didn’t feel it for the first two hits, and then that third hit definitely hit, whooyee. It’s quite a buzzy. It’s quite a buzz. (?). Whoa! Shit! That’s mad…” [end of Shpongle sample]

continued: “That’s mad that they sell stuff in this shop without getting busted. Whoa! It’s quite an interesting one ‘cause you’re totally straight, you’re totally lucid, but my legs are like—-you’re like—-sssshhhhh. it’s totally twisted on a big level. Whoa man! Shit! I think I’m alright now.”

This appears on a BBC documentary called “Can I Get High Legally” around 42 minutes in. It’s about legal/alternative drugs, and towards the end of the show the host figures he should try one of the legal drugs for completion. He chose salvia, and the above quote is spoken right after he hits the salvia 5x from a bong.

I was so exited, I just chose to watch this completely randomly, and then I here this Shpongle sample. I originally assumed that the sample regarded DMT, because of the notorious third-hit cliche. It turned out to be salvia, but still awesome!

Because the tryptamine shape-shifting entities are creating things with vibrations, I am convinced that there is no other explanation than that they are highly advanced beings trying to teach humans how the so-called “string theory” constructs reality.

what’s funny is he didn’t seem to even hit it very well to get the full effect of Salvia D which is a trip to another dimension. Seems like he just got the funny buzzy effects of it with some slight reality warpage…not full on reality destroying ego loss.

cool documentary though!

i thought it was about taking acid a couple times and not getting the full effect. but then the third time the character gets some a good dose, and trips hard for the first time.

its always fun to find some samples.

a little tidbit. inexpressible has the dinosaur cry from the lost world: jurassic park. who knows where that came from.

Ha that’s funny.  That was his reaction to 5x that he didn’t even hit it that hard?  Can’t imagine him experiencing some of the higher concentrations.  “A trip to another dimension” is right.  Good sample.

Nice spot, well done.

I was wondering where it came from, and I saw the documentary when it was on TV.

I also thought that he didn’t get a proper hit, most certainly
