Hmmmm….

Pulp Fiction
Donnie Darko (the original soundtrack was way better than the new director’s cut…)
Buena Vista Social Club (never actually seen the movie lol but the soundtrack is amazing)
I really liked the Spawn soundtrack when I was young, but grew out of that, though the Crystal Method remix of ‘Trip Like I Do’ is a pretty good track.

That’s all I can think of right now… I have a couple others like The Life Aquatic and Deathproof, which are good as well but can’t say I’d recommend them as widely.

You’ve got to check out Machinarium.  It’s an awesome little puzzle/adventure game with sweet graphics, good story, and a chill ambient soundtrack - which you get when you buy the game!  Soundtrack by Tom

Swordfish OST (probably my introduction to electronic music)
Crash OST - Ambient and sad…
How High OST - Method Man and Redman are funny rappers
8 Mile OST - Not the best, but used to listen to it a lot so it has memories attached raspberry

The Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 OSTs have a handful of surprisingly nice tunes. Seriously, Aquatic Ambience :  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDvKwSVuUGA    - so pleasant -_-

And of course Pink Floyd’s Soundtrack from the film ‘More’. I’ve never seen the movie that it apparently comes from, but great album…

Amelie, live and let die, hannibal, trainspotting, the spaghetti westerns by ennio morricone, clockwork orange, scarface, theme tune to the simpsons and southpark, 2001, the sting, tarantino’s normally pretty hot on the music, i love the tunes from those vietnam movies too, american beauty, jaws, gladiator, blade runner, a life aquatic… and when i was about 9 i liked grease and the wizard of oz, but couldn’t like the sound of music because my sister did, thus it was too girly!

Brilliant!

Of the same breed, the soundtrack of the movie koyanisqatsi, composed by philip glass. It’s really one piece of brilliance in the minimalist genre.
