Well, everybody there knows that famous and always so emotional acoustic piece in the start of the track around 1:20-2:10, simple and beautiful melody, but there has been some arguing about it origin many times in some crews…

I mean, some people say that this melody is taken from sample cd. Other people say, that it’s creation of Simon or Pete Callard.

I would like to know what is the truth behind this? Small case, I know, but still I’m curious about it. =)

If somebody knows how it is, I would be very pleased about the fact!

Well the guitar in the intro before 1:20 is sampled from Paco De Lucia.

The 1st part of the tune is paco de lucia, but the bit you are talking about is played by me smile
When i first started to learn guitar, i wasn’t really sure how to tune it, so found myself tuning it to E minor which sounded good, and about right to my ears… when i discovered how to play ‘harmonics’ i came up with this riff, and never used it in a tune until tea daze… there is a video of ruu and me jamming it recently in my living room:

not a great performance, but i love playing it raspberry

Ok, thanks for your answer Simon. =)

I got one burden away from my heart at least. ;D

It’s great melody after all and it was very nice to hear “reprised” in the ...But Nothing is Lost. Also I presume we can spot it also Hallucinogen In Dub album, some parts of the Gamma Goblins remix?

And I liked very much that piece with Ruu. Very emotional presentation all the way.

I saw that vid then tried to copy it. I’m not to great with the guitar but was so chuffed when I thought I got it. I did it in E though so I didn’t quite get it. long face

Give yourself some credit. It sounded pretty cool
