Yeah thats right, but in a good way.

I’ve started DJ’ing at a club downtown Oslo, playing 1 hour sets of Goa / psy-trance among other people. So i’m shuffling through my collection of CD’s and put on VA - Unusual Suspects Vol. 2 to find some new old stuff.

Lots of cool artists here, hmm. The last track starts out differently, so I go hey, what’s this? It turns out the track by “Hikikomori” sounds really cool! Yummy, I really like it. So I throw up discogs to see who’s hiding behind this name. Guess who!

Yeah I noticed that awhile back, sounds nothing like Ott though.

There was something on the forum a long long time ago about this but good to point out again.  I can’t remember where I heard it but Ott had said that he wouldn’t make anymore music like this as then he would have to travel round playing it live and he would hate it as it’s not his thing.

Maybe he will clarify?

It’s a very good track though deep and different..

And sneaky.

I remember also that he said he won’t do that kind of music anymore…Too bad…‘cause it is a damn good track.

Funny now that you said it, it’s true that track does indeed have that special Ott feel to it. It’s really good.

Don’t know why Ott is all so negative about trance, this track’s been obviously made with love!!
