I was bored the other day and was looking thru the cd insert of The Infinity Project Feeling Weird album and found some interesting text.
One section says “mind morphe into a cybercraft hurtling thru the cosmic mirror. On a mental spongle, surfing the de-coded intergalactic…”
So was the reference to “Spongle” somehow the inspiration for the word “Shpongle”? I seem to remember Raj saying it was something he said out loud at a party when asked how he was feeling. Though not sure if it’s the same thing or a forgotten referance.
Then you have the mention of the “cosmic mirror” which I believe is a song or the name certainly reminds me of a Shpongle track anyway.
Just found it interesting to see these words and phrases mentioned in a TIP album from 1995.
