I maintain,,, voting would be higher if gmail and hotmail were accepted as valid email adresses,,,

In the meantime if you cant register and vote on this forum join this group as a potential backup plan:

HALLUCIIINOOOGEEEEN!!!

This thing needs better promotion, really. Psynews, where I found out about this, only got a post yesterday about this. Last.fm, with its 124,557 listeners had its first post pointing here last week. Also, if Simon himself gave a shout about this on his 41,847 fan-strong Shpongle Facebook page, I’m sure the thousand would be reached in no time. If he hasn’t made it, though, perhaps he doesn’t really want to make the album? Do we want him to make an album that he isn’t really interested in doing?

Or maybe he just needs a bit of reassurance that the thousand people who want the album would also pay for it. Therefore, may I suggest to start a project on http://www.pledgemusic.com/ perhaps? (or http://www.sellaband.com but I, believe the former is more flexible, if not so polished). I know that Simon is way beyond the “start-up” level that this kind of sites tend to mostly cater for, but that doesn’t mean that he is beyond financial concerns or that he can’t take advantage of it too. In this filesharing age, I believe that upfront financing and offering incentives is becoming more and more the way to go for artists of all sorts.

One…Simon is very busy. Two..other people like me have already announced it on each page you mentioned…and on the myspace site of every artist I know. Including the Hallucinogen, the Shpongle, and the official Twisted Records page. Some of us are putting it on our own web domains…..
No disrespect, but this has been going on for a bit now, you seem to be a bit behind, noticing this seems to be your first ever post.
Still, it is cool you voted, thanks bro smile

I just worked out there must be around 3140 registered users on this forum,, many of them not active i’m sure,,, but if one of the mods can just email them in a collective mail with this thread,,,the problem should be solved pretty quickly,, what’s the hold up? let’s get this show on the road!

I think all the members of this forum should count for about 100 non-fans.  Therefore, you now need to release 2 new Hallucinogen albums.  smile

Was there a reason my account was deleted? :(

Story time.I remember seeing Hallucinogen @ Arrival 2000. It was a fairly massive 3 day party in Quebec. My mind was completely and irreversibly blown away by the set. I danced, bounced and floated around. Memories that will probably last several lifetimes. I’d love to see another album.

Thought of it 2 days ago, but I don’t have a “PM to all” option, so that won’t work downer
