Ha..that’s great I’ve never seen that before and how young does Posford look…

It’s been around 5 days since the pole vanished and yet not a single word from any admin or site manager.. this is not fair.

I think they “accidentally” erased the pole and won’t admit it

I think it had no “accidental” element at all. It also coincided with Simon P. going mad on the Shpongle forum (claiming he’ll never post again or smth).

Face it: Simon is really happy with what they have accomplished with the new Younger Brother and has been very negative about psytrance and such (perhaps also why there’s this talk that Benji won’t make anything Prometeus anymore). In such a situation it would be silly to expect a new “Hallucinogen”, even with 30000 votes.

He’s overlooking the chance to make a parody psy-trance album though, which he could use to vent all his frustrations with that scene.

five days in mainstream-time, that’s maybe five minutes in shpongolese time

You may have a point there, and I must say that allthough this topic isn’t really going to make Simon do a new album if he’s not in the mood, it was worth it just to get his mind to the notion. But if that is the case how do you explain the fact that he is still playing Hallucinogen sets and from the last I’ve seen he is really liking it?

The reason I voted no on this poll is because creativity doesn’t come from 10000 people going HURR WE WANT NEW PSY TRANCE DURR. I’m surprised at how few people actually realize this. It’s not like this whole thread genuinely came from mr halluciongen in the first place, for if it had, then this would be a whole other subject.

Let the guy do whatever he wants, that’s the only thing that ever works if something good is to come out of the process. Stop embarrassing yourselves. You’re getting pissy because your ridiculous plan isn’t magically working. It’s not like anyone owes you anything.

I appreciate you opinion but your missing the point.
I never thought even for one second that this thread would make Simon do a new album even if I get 1000000 votes. The whole idea for a new album came out after a live Hallucinogen act I was at.I saw how myself and many more danced our asses off to Simon’s music, and Simon himself dancing on stage making all his funny faces,and even though most tracks are already 10 years old we never get tired of them. that’s when I thought that it would be great if Simon made a new album and I told him that after the show. The whole notion of this pole and thread are not really what’s going to make Simon do an album ,but to make him see how many people are long awaiting to hear new tunes from the one and only (In my opinion).

Regarding you voting no, I think you are a bit too self righteous with this .All I asked was to know if you would like a new Hallucinogen album.

To conclude, now that the pole is gone and I think that my point was made and Simon’s attention to the matter is taken ,that’s all I wished for.

If you are coming from a band into electronic music, there is a point you get bored, and you want to go back and make some music with other guys.

not really puzzling at all. the scene went to pretty much turd quite some years ago. (do not really wish to discuss the topic).

though i suspect that simon knows that Hallucinogen has a MASSIVE fan following and that 95% probably do not use this forum. i do hope we see another album, whether or not this thread reaches a 1000.
