Okay, this is something that’s been bugging me for years (pretty much since I first heard Nothing Lasts), but only now did I actually think of registering here to ask about it.

Can anyone identify the McKenna sample on the track ...But Nothing Is Lost? The one that starts “nothing lasts, not your career, not your ...” I’m curious about what he’s saying, and can’t for the life of me make it out myself. Google doesn’t seem to know the answer either.

I have it on a recording somewhere but can’t remember the name of it…I think it also goes..

‘nothing lasts, nothing lasts…..not your fortune, not your misfortune and ultimately not even your own life’, I think Posford may have chopped it up a bit but not sure.  Maybe he said it in other talks he did..if I find it I’ll put the exact bit up…

Hopefully you are able to find this clip, electrobot…I would LOVE to hear the original!
