I’m wondering if anyone has ever read this. The chances of Simon having read this are highly likely. Several Shpongle like phrases are used in it such as “Ineffable Mysteries” and “Jeweled self dribbling basketballs”. Aside from that it’s a crazy read.

Jewelled self dribbling basketballs is something Terrence McKenna said. I believe I have it on Alien Dreamtime or Coast to Coast interview with Art Bell. I can’t remember which. I’m guessing Simon has sampled that.
