For the Shpongle gig in Australia in Jan 2011 on the end of the flyer it says….

‘The forthcoming live shows will also feature material from Shpongle’s as-yet-untitled fifth album, due for release in 2012’.

Sorry to post this comment twice in the forum but it’s quite important assuming that this is work in progress and there has been no official word of any release date…

pics and especially vids! i’m still craving for more livematerial of mister posford.. the one hallucinogen-set i had the pleasure hearing live was aweinspiring. there are plenty of cellphone-quality videos of such liveevents at youtube. despite the poor image quality i find many of them quite enjoyable. a good vibe somehow comes through heavy compression-algorithms :D

Apparently it was a misprint, because the “new material from Shpongle 5” quote was redacted almost immediately, and no new material was played on the tour

@ Twisted- I want to slide a thank you to you guys in an existing thread, just no big deal…
I listened to a lot of Shpongle and other Twisted stuff (Spike) this weekend after my uncle passed away. We were extremely close and it’s been really hard on me, but your music has really helped me to go really deep.I hope that makes sense to you. Anyway thanks for the long lovely ride, let’s keep on rocking.

Thank you for posting this a second time, I’ll quote it for a third.

I never saw the first post.

2012 will be a good year indeed!

So sorry to hear about your uncle.  It’s nice that you found some comfort in beauty while he had merged with the infinite.

Can’t wait to see them live this summer!  Maybe a new remix of some old songs?  All I want to hear is DMT and Divine Moments of Truth again live….love hearing those 2 live with the energy of a crowd around me.

see you all next week perhaps?

Well stop thinking of him as a god like figure and just as a normal bloke who makes fuckinhg awesome music, maybe you won’t be disappointed.

No kidding. Also, we are all God, some are just better at putting us in touch with the fact.

Well I hope your still at least reading this thread Si, although I dont blame you if you lost hope
A normal bloke who makes awesome music?  I think thats a rediculous statement and I wonder if you have ever acutally heard shpongle after reading that.  Sure you may have bought all the cds and listened to them, but did you really hear them?  I look at Si and Raj as modern day Shamans, spiritual leaders, not just normal blokes.  Their music is sacred to me and has been a huge catylyst for spiritual epiphonies on many different occasions, even when im sober.  Ineffible Mysteries is different but i think this album is amazing, visionary.  I have learned so much about the cycle of life and they way the universe works by searching my mind with the guidance of this music.  I belive that this music is meant to be heard in an altered state, but even when im completely sober this music really touches to my core.  On more than one occasion while listening to “Invisible Man in a Flourescent Suit” I felt things I can hardly even explain.  It was a divine moment of truth is what it was, a breif moment of clarity.  It was like every muscle in my body clenched, tears started streaming down my face, it helped me see the infinite beauty that surrounds me, and everthing made perfect sense.  These moments are extremely rare. If this album had never been made, I would have missed out on one of the most memorable moments of my entire life.

With our limited human brains that really only interpret less than a tenth of one percent of reality there is no way that anybody can even begin to imagine the amount of positive impact in the universe that this music has.

I agree ... CHOMPING at the bit for shpongle five…

Karmically, its extremely positive and as i said it is like buddhism, basically a global karma MOP which removes suffering. obviously si and raj attempt to train others to free eachother from suffering and god knows what else. Basically the whole show floats so high in the astral above it there isnt much, only the few biggest bringers of light we have. . this thing has come from DEEP.

“periscopes of consiousness” describe the awareness stalks of all sentient beings. i was touched. samples as “ego…” “sikhism” incantations to visnu, chanting, “nirvana!!” whispering the “tss-tss” of ‘time’ and ‘space’, and lots of refs to “existence”. that POP noise when you put your finger in your cheek, from dorset perception. that’s the sound of the universe coming into existence. “walking backwards through a cosmic mirror” has the VZZZt language of awarezznezzzz.

i burst into tears of joy because i looked to my right…. alllllllllll of these sheep were following this one other sheep in a line, one big line across the field, i have NEVER seen anything like it nor can i explain it.

Brahman and Atman are one!!!! after i lay down to sleep, out the window, amidst the perfect silence, was one single star hanging in the sky - there is no difference between the inner and the outer worlds, its just such a good match that the overlap becomes totally invisible and clear. we think we are seperate but no all is one.

I especially like the parts of the album. the echoic piano solos. there seperated on the album but that’s the place. “yes, this IS the higher”. Is It??

some people… some people their interests are corrupt. they have much to loose.

Namaste.
