Simon and Benji you have been my favorite artists since the beginning of psytrance
but you’ve definetely lost the trail.
You aren’t pink floyed nor any other rockband and you will never be.
You are born to produce highclass psytrance and rock the dancefloors around the world but instead you waste your time in producing rock’n roll i can’t belive….
Nobody in this scene needs this ...
Please kick that band stuff away and start again with some real psychedelic music ala Flock of bleep (what an amazing album btw.)
Last Days Of Gravity is a fantastic album, and so is Flock Of Bleeps. The new one will be with a lot more vocals and a real band feeling i suppose, but it will still have the right amount of psychedelic electronics. Kybalion sounds like a fag.

They don’t tend to be Pink Floyd or any other rock band. They’re Younger Brother.
Their music being quite psychedelic (if not more psychedelic than the music people usually hear at those fests), I don’t see why they don’t deserve to perform at psy-trance festivals.
What nobody needs in that scene is the kind of attitude that you are presenting here.
Younger Brother’s live was the best one I’ve heard at Ozora and I can’t wait to hear it again.

by the way - since the yb EP won’t come out until November, i guess that means that the album won’t come out until next year? nor will the Prometheus and Ott albums, i suppose? forgive me my language but that really fucking sucks. :(

This forum should be a place to explore the music and communicate good vibes overall. I know I griped about the HiD Live album at one point but not to the extent of “don’t come back…” That is absurd. My two cents right there…

I haven’t heard the recent gig but agree with you here and the forum should be about good vibes, everything moves on and I’d be bored sensless if Posford and friends didn’t develop their music and it continued in the same feel. Psy trance hasn’t moved on hardly from 10 years ago and needs fresh ideas.
If people listen to psy music from the 60’s it was mainly band orientated so why not go back to that and explore it with a modern twist?
You are soooo ungrateful Kybalion. Maybe you should sort your ears out, we had THE greatest time at Cargo, Younger Brother were totally solid live. And, let me tell you, we are very serious trippers (not all of the time ofc but most often….well my friend is, I tend to be a little bit silly sometimes but I’m nearly a shaman lololol). Younger Brother, you could have played Mannifest with The Egg, they went down a treat, you will go off to these fancy foreign places stay here, we love you the best.
Everybody has a right to impress opinion, I think that way and we just have to allow it.
Not that I actually share opinion with topic starter, even though I have not seeing Younger Brother Live ever, unfortunately and that way tell is it brilliant or is it shit. Still, I’m pretty sure that I would like it, because I like a lot live bands and I loved Shpongle Live Show. So why would not love YB live? To me it’s very ok, that electronic music (psychedelic or not) is embed with live instruments and played so. If musicians are good enough it’s very nice combination and always something different than playing straight on the computers etc machinery.
If somebody ask, I would say there should be more live bands in psytrance parties like O.Z.O.R.A., it gives a lot more variation and expreriences, i’m sure. There is no need to be a stucked in past, things change and that’s good.
