you gave me and many many others a very bad trip!
This music has nothing to do on psytrance festivals it’s completely crap.
Sorry for beeing harsh but it need to be said.
Simon and Benji you have been my favorite artists since the beginning of psytrance
but you’ve definetely lost the trail.
You aren’t pink floyed nor any other rockband and you will never be.Fuck that shit!!!!
You are born to produce highclass psytrance and rock the dancefloors around the world but instead you waste your time in producing garbage,yes garbage as it’s best i can’t belive….
Nobody in this scene needs this bullshit,
Please kick that band stuff away and start again with some real psychedelic music ala Flock of bleep (what an amazing album btw.)

But honestly, considering how’s the psytrance scene today, I have no difficulty understanding why they left trance behind them. It’s so monotonous and mechanical sounding nowadays, nothing psychedelic at all, and the worst seems to be that this new psytrance format works better than the older trance. Festivals have been booming ever since. If you’re talented and original, why would you want to make a genre music that people don’t even pay attention to?

Funnily enough I also miss the old twisted records sound and that brilliant younger brother album.

If your talking about the new hallucinogen album, we are still a long way from the 1000 needed .. any help would be appreciated

I was at that same gig as you are talking about Kybalion and to be honest I think it was one of the best concerts on the festival. If you had a bad trip to that stuff I’d say it’s your own fault for putting yourself in that situation.

I applaud Simon and Benji for exploring new approaches and styles in their music. Incidentially; if you dont like their newer stuff you can always go listen to the old stuff which we all so adore.

I agree!! I would have thought YB was a nice variation from all the other Psy artists playing there. But I wondered myself why the promoters hired YB,when I fist saw the lineup,but I think I would have loved it,ashame I didnt get to go! I dont understand why someone would go out of their way to bitch about this. I mean I go to a festival and there is a band playing that I dont really care for, the last thing on my mind is going on the bands forum and telling them to not play festivals. Wtf is with some people?

Thanks for the link! Definitely looks like it was an awesome show, but I do agree the singer was pretty lousy. That wasn’t Ruu, was it?

Also, guy who wrote the OP should listen to the new YB samples on the homepage and reassess his opinion of their new direction. Sounds great to my ears

It’s a good point, but it’s not as if he didn’t care about YB, on the contrary if he didn’t he wouldn’t have been dissapointed by the live. I can understand why he wanted to get other fan’s impressions on the forum. Where else? The only thing I would critisize is not the content of the message, but rather the form that might be a bit ‘bitchin’ as you say
