Okay, that’s sort of good. It’s definitely evolving into more of an industrial/dance type of sound rather than psy-trance as we have known it. I’m not sure I’d personally make such a fuss about this album (just personal taste). But nice bassline, Benji is definitely the king of basslines.
Having said that, pleeeeease, pleeeease Benji, finish that downtempo album that you announced a while back. Prometheus is good, but we have two albums of premium stuff of that nature. Judging by Younger Brother, and esp. some downtempo stuff in your live sets, I was floored by the high quality work you can do in this area. It would be a much needed, refreshing change. Please keep us posted on it.
All you Benji fans, listen to the unreleased Benji tracks mixed in with familiar tracks. I think this set was from a Shpongle halloween preshow (2008). Then let’s see if you don’t yearn for a Benji downtempo album.
