It was part of what the internet used to be. I really miss the treasure-hunting experience the internet was when I was in my young teens. Wikipedia and discogs makes everything extremely easy to find. It was through the old Hallucinogen page I discovered Shpongle and Celtic Cross. It felt like secret info only the bravest seeker would find. Like going through dusty tomes in a secret library.

I do have one page I visit to bring back the memories - fusion anomaly. Anyone remember this one? I’m pretty sure the guy who made it is a psytrancer.

Yeah I miss it too. I think I still have a copy of the banner somewhere,from a right click and save image I did years ago. I assume the link posted above is to the archive.

Such an awesome site, cool that it’s stored several places. It was hosted somewhere else but now that link is dead.

I love how the messageboard-posts go somewhat like “Hey, can anyone recommend me any tracks similar to The mystery of the yeti? Contact me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) - cheers”

E-mail was the way to go.

The hallucinogen page also has old pics of infected mushroom and really grainy video from the making of Binah - Crescent Suns. So cool.

Ahh I found that pic, but it wouldn’t let me upload it for some reason, but it’s the one with you wearing the pink top and Yeti look hair?...first one on google images..

i discovered that pic quite at the same time i first dug hallucinogen. and there was this epic track about a yeti, who loves to drink shnaps. further more this track also revealed that the yeti had dreadlocks..

somehow when i play that track nowadays this pic of si pops up in my mind. :D
