and cranked the volume up to 11…

I havn’t listened to this album in almost a year and have gotten new speakers since last time. I know my new speakers are much better than the previous ones, but did they give this album new life or what. I hear so much details that i don’t do with an mp3-player or even with my old speakers.

This album is freakin awesome. Unique music and very good sound quality. <3

Agree, there is so much detail gained from CD with a good sound system, especially with the Shpongle material so many hinden sounds and effects in there!

this cd is nuts! this was the last cd i needed to get to complete my shpongle collection, and id say its my favorite so far.  The other day i lit some candles, burned some sage and other choice herbs and plants and put my headphones on, I really had a revalation.  I feel like im starting to understand the story behind Nothing Lasts little by little.  It is about they cycle of life right?  Or like a near death experience.  And there is a crazy time warp in it too, in Conneseur of Hallucinations.  To me it seems like the mood of the cd changes after “When Shall I be Free”.  Like you have died, or you are tripping balls and think you have died, and therefore you are finally completely free, but then in “connisuer of hallucinations” the time warp happens, Terrence Mckenna talks about how nothing is lost again,  its sounds like you are going back in time or something and then you are thrown right into the thick of it again, like a cycle, and the mood of the music goes back to what it was before “When shall i be free”.  I have felt this crazy cycle on many different levels when im in an altered state, sometimes i feel like im stuck in this cycle and that ill be stuck in the trip forever.  Does anybody know what im talking about?  Did anybody else interpret this cd anything like i did?
I dont know, i know this cd is probably one of the best cds ever, i know it tells a story, but maybe it tells a different story to everybody.  This music is truly visionary.

It is visionary indeed. I had many amazing things on this music. one in particular is seeing good/bad, ying/yang engaging in a dance like fight (capoeira) where end is irrelevant but what is important is a process.

Also I remember listening to VERY BAD QUALITY recording from eliath desert. and in that moment i heard amazing quality like I’ve been on concert and even get a chance to listen to some new tunes even before original 4th album was produced. And all this music was played kinda by me for me at that particular moment. it was created and played at the same time.

I have a time stretch thing in Monster hit - when I get thrown out of space/time and return closer to the end of the track right before last “Monster hit” - this is where I realize that this is truly a monster hit.

Room 2om - once showed me aborigenic visions of tribes hunting. Not just simple visions but very clear visions - like i could touch everything.

2008 in Roundhous - when I am you start playing (by that time I did not know that tune name) I’ve seen all people suddenly having my face on them! smile

There are others - but are forgotten now. smile
