I’ve made a minimalistic Reason 5 beat with just one instance of Thor and one instance of Kong drum machine, then I just added effects. Couldn’t be more minimal in setup! With creative patching in Thor you can create very complex and rythmic patterns and with intelligent mod routing, these can be animated in various ways. Sadly the videos are only made up with a static image of the Reason 5 rack+sequencer window.
I’ve also done a simple edit of the Crazy beat where I’ve tweaked the Thor patch and changed the drumset.
