If the Vaccine pledgedrive is a success (and we all pray it will be), that opens up a whole new avenue of opportunity for future Twisted Records releases…

What kind of things can you see yourself pledging on in the future?

Imagine being able to buy a piece of original Raja Ram art, to fund Shpongle 5
or have a Shpongle track remixed just for you!

Personally, I’d pay anything to get my hands on a lost Metal Sharon single called “Cybertron”... maybe pledging will make it possible!

Totally agree Adam and first up on the list would be:

Shpongle posters like the one in Posfords studio
Ltd art prints of the albums/art
Raja art work from the original album
Mugs
Original logo Twisted T’s
Photos

The list could go on…. cheese

Raja Ram art would be sweet.  I’d pay 25 pounds for a poster, maybe 50ish pounds for a small piece of original art. Raja just line up a bunch of little Arches paper cards and do them assembly line style. By the time you’re ready to paint the blue, the pink is dry on the first card. ‘Twould be sweet.

How did you hear about this track? Damn, now I’m curious smile

I heard Simon play it a few times in Australia in 2005, and then in Turkey in 2006.
I had no idea what the track was, but it definitely had that “Posford touch”...

Then I heard Merv play it in Australia in 2007, and I was lucky enough to finally ask him what it was. “Cybertron… Metal Sharon”. It all made sense now!
My next question was “When will it be released”, and he said there was no timeline for a release, but it WILL be released eventually.

Then I messaged Merv on Myspace about a year ago (Oct 2009) and asked him again.
He replied “Very soon!”.
And that’s the last I’ve heard of it.

I’ve tried messaging Simon but I think he was busy with Younger Brother 3 at the time.

But it is a STORMER of a track… think “Flexitones meets Shpongle”

I would dare to think about a downtempo Metal Sharon track- By the way I look at it, for sure it’d equal any (almost) Shpongle track.
