Hey dialtone, getting back to your original post, maybe a little cannabis… not too freaky, but crazy enough if you’ve never tried it. Great for music. But there is a chance that you won’t get any effect if it’s your first time. Look at the bulk of the advice above, it seems to be saying that you’ll be pretty high off of Shpongle alone- damn, it’s going to be the best place in the whole wide world to be on that night, and you’ll know it with or without. Enjoy!
Go and enjoy the music without. First, figure out how to turn your brain on. Then go experiment with chem’s. They help initially - for perception changes.
i can’t add much more to that and i’m not going to advertise the use of psychedelic drugs B). as you don’t know how you get affected by the drug, a public place is a really bad idea for a tryout.
Yeah, as I said, never done drugs before. I figured if I ever was going to, a Shpongle concert would be the prime opportunity.
So the consensus so far is a no go to drugs?
The catch-22 is that you’ll probably be thinking more about the drugs than the Shpongle concert.
Taking drugs can be like your own personal concert in your brain. One concert is enough!
I’d recommend going sober to the gig, and then maybe smoking weed afterwards at home with some friends? With a Shpongle CD on the stereo?
im always on something at shows, but if this is your first time i wouldnt condone it. if i wasnt so high at the roundhouse 2008 i may have been able to figure out wut just happened to me.

I went to the concert this night, sober.
At the end, I got an A1 sized drawing that was done by Raja Ram himself whilst on stage.
I assume I could not have done that if I was trippin’ balls :::)

I don’t care if it’s Raja or what… I am also completely friendly in all ways, but that image is straight out wrong in every way. WTF was Raja thinking? I’d love to hear a long artistic explanation of this one. Seriously. This image is disgusting. I might regret posting this considering I am smashed, but really, this will probably seem even more over the top when I am sober.
*edit* I guess not disgusting, still a weird as hell image. I guess if those silhouettes resembled women I might not be as grossed out, but that’s just me. Either way, confusing image. Not how I envision getting Shpongled…
