Got the CD today! Almost a month (-2 days), but it finally got there!

Bloody hell. It would have been quicker to shout the zeroes and ones down the phone and have you scratch them onto a CD with a pin.

Hope it was worth the wait.

Got my CD 10 days after my order, so that’s really okay considered that the distance between source and destination is bigger than 10thousand kilometers. So i guess it wasn’t the snail from the cover that delivered it. Also the immediate download made me very patient.
Unfortunately the CD doesn’t include a booklet but on the other hand there is this crazy inside-the-sleeve artwork that makes it all okay again. Not to mention the groovy music of course…
So all in all three thumbs up, Mr. Ott!

How many CDs were printed? Is it limited edition?

Also, there’s discussion on discogs.com whether the CD is an actual factory pressed CD or a CDr (mine definitely doesn’t look like other factory CDs and has “CD-R” printed on the inner ring). Not that it matters, though it would be good to know.

I don’t doubt my is legit, though I have a feeling it’s some kind of a test-run or promo copy, which makes me a bit nervous about how long will it last, as CD-R are typically less durable :(

Mine DOES look like a factory pressed CD, also there is no “CD-R” imprinting in the inner ring but “ott-mir” imprinted in the inner ring.
So where did you get your copy, antic?

Mine too is a CD-R, purchased directly from Ott’s Bandcamp page…

Weird, I posted a reply to this on Friday with a screenshot of Paypal confirmation, but it’s disappeared? Anyway, I bought it at the only place possible - through Ott’s bandcamp page.

Yeah I also noticed something was missing antic.
Maybe there was information on there that Ott didn’t want made public. A mod or admin may have spotted something.

Fair point - I only blurred MY sensitive info

And yes - the signatures you mention are on the ‘other’ version that it seems most people have.

That’s exactly what my copy says in the inner ring.

Maybe you should contact the seller and try to get another copy
or maybe the CD-R versions will be the super rare collector’s items of the future just like that:

Me too… I kind of wish I got the ‘official’ one… but I’ve got the 1000+ kbps alac files, so I cannot complaint too much.

Was gonna leave my copy sealed…but you guys got me curious…

I think bandcamp ripped me/some of us off. Inside reads, CD-R 80 CWLHT-TN-0042   0314.” Its got pixellated text, and is coded, ‘ott001.’
What kind of artwork is on the inside of a legit copy? I think I’ll send bandcamp an email.
