This is just a wish that would be super awesome but I’m sure I will never have unless I learn how to mix music and do it myself.  BUT!!!!!!!!!  I want Shpongle to make all their albums in 5.1 surround channels.  I know they mix everything in 2 channels and that’s amazing, but OMG to get different layers coming from back left and right and everywhere in between would be multigasmic, and even if it was only available as a download, i’d still pay for it.  So Simon and Raj, please think of this as my x-mas gift, much appreciated.

I went to a concert (not a twisted artist) a while back, where the sound was actually ‘heard’ in the back part of my head. It was insane. I think it was Richard Devine with STS9. Very very cool.

I did think this had been discussed before somewhere, thanks digilatex.  The concept is interesting in the right environment or set up at home, but as someone who has coughed up alot for equipment I cringe at the thought of building a 5.1 system..

With Shpongle and the subtle sounds in the music in would be insane firing off in different directions..
