Well I contend that it is a bit of all of those; I don’t hear any Merle Haggard or Miles Davis or Dead Kennedys or Carl Orff in there…
Even though I think this album can be (roughly) categorized, I still think it’s a unique and unquestionable masterwork that we’ll all be enjoying forever. But once the art is out in the public it has a life of its own regardless of the artist’s intent. People need to be able to reference things by association for their own sake (because we’re typically not as smart as we think we are), and also for when we discuss them with others. Labels are just that, a little piece of paper on the outside of the bottle, but they are necessary.
I will listen again to see what I can find! If Mir was a tape it would have stretched by now and if it was vinyl the needle would have cut right through.
i don’t think it’s been mentioned enough times already - it’s too short!!!
i mean that tongue-in-cheek, because that’s the reason why the album is so good (it’s pretty much faultless). i suppose what i really mean is that i’m already patiently waiting for the follow-up.
“ …free as a child running happy through an endless green wheat field on a summer day while little colorful smiling creatures are flying all around, leaving luminous powdery trails behind them.”
The type of tracks that when you listen to in headphones while driving a motorbike makes you want to grow wing and fly with the bike up to the blue blue sky above…
Can’t help how good it is especially the last two minuets.
Well done mate can’t wait to see you in Israel again.

That doesn’t sound very safe. Not for you, and not for the other drivers as well.
I know is one of my bad habbits.. But that’s about the only time I have to really listen to music during the day.
Well, just do something very simple: think what would be bigger, the pleasure of listening to music in this state, or the pain and possible loss that an accident can cause. I think we know the answer to that
