Hey Admin!

Twisted has some utterly amazing art like the Hallucinogen Live in Dub at Brixton, Shpongle Ineffable, the first Twisted DVD, Corridor of Mirrors, Skylon etc, etc, Heraclitus, Plato, etc;)

How come you guys don’t make high-res versions available to people (like so many other labels/artists)? I’m one of these guys like (generix and alectrobot.808) who BUY the CD, then load it into the computer, then search the interweb for suitable album art. And I can never find something good for my Twisted albums. Taking a snapshot of the CD would suck. I understand being protective of your proprietary artwork, but if you’re too protective, then the art just fades into distant memory and what’s the point then?

I bought a print of Shpongle 4 artwork from Storm Thorgesons site, there are only 40 produced and trust me they are stunning well worth the price.

Apart from that the only other prints are the YB album covers also available from Storm T.  Cheaper posters and Raj artwork are a must really and easy income for the label.

Any updates as to the download site? I am trying to make a ‘mix and match’ of a bunch of Shpongle tracks. What mp3 format is currently available from twisteddownloads?

If I remember rightly when I downloaded some stuff it was 320 or 192 kbps but I’m not 100%.
It would be good if that site was updated more. Maybe a job for the new intern.

Wish I had £200 to spend on that. Good size. I can imagine it’s quality EB?

Yes I can confirm it’s a fine bit of artwork, with the big size you notice alot more detail in it..

Maybe I’m old fashioned but I still like CDs, I see from this thread that there are still a few others in agreement and I share their reasons for liking them i.e the artwork, reading the booklet, something to hold in my hands.

I’d be happy with pledges to make runs of CDs though a la Younger Brother, and the prospect of FLAC downloads is a good one, especially for out-of-print stuff.

Again in agreement with some others, it would be nice to be able to buy prints of the artwork if the price is right.

How about a Twisted calendar for 2012 with the best of the back catalogue artwork?
