We start building the App in the new year ( fingers crossed ) with a release towards June 2012 . It’s going to be an amazing source for all things Twisted - social , music ,ticket buying . The full catalogue will be yours to stream and cache for around $4/month….. plus loads of other gifts and features ..... it’s a massive app to design and we’re very excited about it…....... here’s to hoping it works out

did everyone get the survey?

personally i think it sounds like fantastic value, my only concern is about the bit rate. it would be nice to be able to stream higher quality sound files when using wifi.

i just hope they can get the app rolling before they release the 4 or so albums this year. speaking of which, the survey mentions 4 guaranteed releases per year. ambitious for twisted?

we think it’ll be pay/month , so you get billed $3.30/month .

for this you get at least 1 or 2 tracks/month plus 3-5 albums/year and loads of live shows and ticket deals - bargain hey !!

by cached to your device, do you mean within the twisted app? i.e. one won’t be able to play it through ipod/itunes?

if so, i hope you guys make use of the background playback feature, like the souncloud app does.

do you guys have a timeframe for getting this app made? i.e. are you still aiming for middle of the year?

is there anything else (apart from the survey) that the twisted community can do to help get this off the ground?

Anything under “3 per month” is a good price, psychologically.

Whether that’s 2.99 USD, GBP, EUR. It decreases the mental barrier surrounding the purchase decision.

I applaud you guys for making this move. It’s great!

I like the idea, however I already have a Spotify subscription going and most of the twisted stuff is already available through this service. And the missing stuff I have on CD which is ripped and is placed nice and comfy on my mobile.

Off topic:
Regarding Spotify, what is Twisted and its artist earning through this service? I have heard horror stories regarding artists who earn almost nothing. :(
