I was as skeptical as anyone about the different direction of the new album, but after hearing a lot of the songs live I have to say - I love it! Pound a Rhythm and Safety in Numbers were particularly vivid in person, though I’m still not sure how I feel about Night Lead Me Astray. The set was excellent(ignoring the obvious technical and sound issues); I’m even more excited to see Shpongletron now!

That’s great to hear.  Good stuff, I’m loving the new YB songs more and more as I listen to them.

Can’t wait to see Simon and the Shpongletron in Lawrence!
