What a crazy good night!

I took the train from MA to NY, so getting there pretty early I walked into J viewz starting off the night with amazing energy! That woman has a seXXXy voice!

Infected Mushroom I could have gone without.. but I wont be a Negative Nancy and go into that.

I was really hoping Simon would start off the New Year at 12, but nonetheless, his set was incredible! I was supposed to take the train back a little after 2 (living in between MA and RI, I’m used to getting out of shows or clubs at 2), but he wasn’t done til about 4! So me and my bf said SCREW IT. I’ll pay the extra money to dance to and watch the whole set.

It was well worth it.

What a fantastic way to start off my New Year.. going home broke as hell, but happier than a pig in shit!

I always wonder why Shpongle gets teamed up with Infected Mushroom, they must all be good pals. I think I might go back to my alternate signature; “Official Infected Mushroom Hater Since 1999”. Anyway, glad Shpongle was so deadly. I would also highly highly recommend live Hallucinogen if you get a chance. Si makes all these great facial expressions during the sets!

This WAS, without a doubt, an amazing, magical night. Once my girl and I got off that train and entered the building, all else outside ceased to exist. From about 9pm until roughly 4 in the morning, it was pure aural bliss. J. Viewz definately took us by pleasant suprise and set the mood for what was undoubtedly the best New Years celebration ever. Simon, once again (as if there’s EVER any doubt), set the place ablaze with lights, and color, and dance, and a journey that I’ll not soon forget. I am forever grateful to have been a part of such an awe-inspiring evening of musical creativity and genius…
