also, i’m really digging the acoustic versions in the extras. somehow the songs actually sound richer in the acoustic versions.

I love this album.  All of the tracks work well for me… even the one track I find to be the weakest of the lot (Safety in Numbers) is still a great tune.  Opening the album with Crystalline sets the stage nicely for the rest of the journey… and closing with Tetris wraps up the experience perfectly.

There’s a very nice fusion of psychedelic music in this release.  Psychedelic rock meets psychedelic electronic with Ruu’s voice floating beautifully through the music.

I’m not sure which direction Younger Brother is going in… but I like it, it works, and has become its own force in the music of the 21st century.

All I ask for is, MORE PLEASE!!!

for me the breakthrough in enjoying this album came when i stopped thinking of it as younger brother/twisted and started comparing it with all the other ‘psychedelic’ rock out there at the moment. it’s far better.

i can actually see this sound working well in the long-term if they stick with it, although my main criticism is still that they’re taking themselves (and the music) too seriously.

My dear Flavlus, it is serious music, the band themselves are far from serious but it is very important that they stay serious about their music, flippen heck man, would you prefer it if they came back with a remix of the birdy song? smile
