What is going on?

I received my online download of YB B-sides and other etcetera, though I was a bit sad to see it was I guess an uncompressed format that I had a hard time downloading for subsequent writing to DVD (forgive me all my lack of expertise and software?!)  I’m new at it all.  Would have celebrated much more happily if it were simple mp3 or pedestrian equivalent….  and not so surprised anything more intricate is not yet received by bigger pledgers…  Wishing sorries to all who have not yet been fulfilled (sorry, Twited,  don’t know the stuff, but these guys gave you their ALL and whatnot as it were, so I’m sad they don’t feel rewarded as of yet..)  I only know I read a great quote the other day———
(probably at minimum slightly misquoted—)  “It is only in attempting the impossible that we may reach that which is the most toppest part of the possible.”

Hi pledgers and other supporters ...... First up as you have all guessed we have a serious delays on a lot of the pledge stuff….. The main and only reason for this has simply been bad administration ..... we the band passed a lot of the admin onto others to sort out and it was handled poorly - twisted records should have just handled it all ourselves .

The guy who was handling the pledge commitments has been moved on now so we hope to get back on track next week ..

-the t-shirts are designed and just need to be sent out
-the Artwork prints are half done ( 2 of 4) but storm is being difficult
-the custom artwork is done and ready to go
-the signed stuff is really behind because simon was never asked to sign them before he disappeared off on his 47 date shpongle tour - so we are having to send 300 cd covers to the midwest for him to sign , he’ll then send’em back to the UK and we’ll post them out
- the book is almost ready but we’re putting a lot of time into trying to make it really special and it should be getting sent out in the next couple of weeks
-the skype chats and studio sessions are held up by the fact that simon is away until june on his shpongle tour.
- drum skins are all done
I think all the other stuff is covered ...

We really are sorry about the delay .... i can promise hand on heart that when you receive your items you’ll be happy as we’ve really put a lot into getting them right
and most of all we eternally grateful for your support…..

Thanks for posting this reply Benji as I was about to post a thread of complaint.  I have just returned from my local hight street and noticed that Vaccine was sitting in the rack of HMV so after Pledging last year I ended up buying it from there and really I don’t like supporting HMV at the best of times.  Luckly I’ve got a sense of humour however but the admin guy from Pledge really should have been shot with shit before you let him go.

Sorry I don’t want to have a ‘pop’ at Simon but I would have thought that due to timing and release dates he would have realised that he had some signing to do before going to the US?

Just got an email to say my pledge item (signed CD) has shipped, so hopefully it’ll be here soon.
