My friends who saw the Shponglatron show in Memphis told me that Posford pitched a hissy fit after his Memphis show over the PA, this was confirmed by 2 independent sources, both of which stated that he commented:
“Next time people need to bring a friend, I have more groupies in my tour bus than came out to this event.”
followed up by the ever classy
“Maybe I’ll see some of you later in my bed”.
Anyone else witness this nonsense?
Last time I saw him he was booty dancing with ladies on the stage, obviously not giving a fuck about djing, trainwrecking tracks, and he was enjoying humping the “pretty ladies” he invited on stage. Later that night my friend who opened for him gave him a demo of his production and Posford rolled his eyes and threw it out in front of him.
His energy has totally changed from starry eyed idealist with his finger on the pulse of psychedelia to jaded attention whore rockstar, he has gone from one of the most impressive musicians in electronic music to a rockstar ego-pumped burnout.
I think the money has gone to his head and he will never get a dime from me again.
