I’m sitting outside on a 2nd floor deck, stiff breezes making themselves known every few minutes, sun’s still up (under a cloudier sky by the hour) but westering hard (6:35pm local), looking at about an acre of recently mowed backyard that slopes gently and leads to a scrubbed field with a meadow beyond, blue jays, robins, and red-winged blackbirds making their supper..  And listening to “I Am You” (Shpongle).  And you are…......

Do you think being worried about it, or working to overcome your own stress over the idea, and the checklist of other BS in our society is gonna make your life better?

Sympatico CJ, but don’t even get started on such hogwash wink. A certain admin will likely call you an idiot.

On a positive note, you’ve probably heard this before..

[Insert deity if applicable] grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.

What you can do is detox…It can do wonders for your health and mood. cheers

@HelloMellow format c:!!  format c:!!  I remember opening up an MS DOS window on a display model at some computer store and typing that in.  I thought I was such a badass (until I pressed return, and then I felt horrible LOL), thanks for the memory tongue rolleye

You know what’s weird?  Sometimes before I’m fully asleep I “hear” electronic tracks in my head (newly composed ones, not tracks I’m already familiar with) and I always think “Man, that track would KILL, I’m gonna remember what this sounds like when I wake up tomorrow and figure out how to compose it..”  Naturally, I have something between 0 and 10% recollection of it the next day.  Not to mention I’ve never composed an electronic track in my life.  Nor do I even have any equipment with which to try!  And the reality is the tracks probably all sucked anyway raspberry

So in case it isn’t obvious, right now I am sitting at my laptop (inside, it’s raining today, no way that was obvious) avoiding doing work.  Hoorayyyy for working from home!

p.s. Shpongle LIVE at Camp Bisco???!!??!!!!!!  YEEHAHHHHH!!!

The environment right now in Joplin, MO.  Wasteland.  There have been so many places hit by twisters…one about 1:30 north of my home and another about 2:30 hours south of my home…
My heart goes out to those now homeless.  I feel that there will be many more here soon.

Why would I do that? raspberry This has been debunked several times. I don’t understand why people believe in that crap. Not logical AT ALL. But sure, be my guest… some people still believe in gods etc.
