I really love Twisted and everything I do but I am dumbfounded that they complain about being broke as a record label while ignoring the requests for items to sell.

Posters would have a great markup and require hardly any effort to produce to sell.

I ended up taking one of the high resolution pictures from this forum and had it printed on large photo paper by a professional copy. Then I had that framed with some signed CD inserts I have. I would have gladly purchased a poster from Twisted but nothing is available.

Somebody just needs to put the printed high resolution photos on eBay and start selling them, maybe that will get Twisted’s attention.

Soundvision. You need money to make money. Posters, cds, vinyl etc etc etc don’t grow on trees you need cash to get them made. Plus the time to fix these things. Not an easy thing to do when you’re constantly touring the US with YB. You can’t afford a label manager to do the things like cd’s etc. So hopefully the new intern can maybe fix these things.

That’s a valid point, I think Twisted has been run for a while now as just Simon Holtom plus one or not even that.  Looks like with them looking for more artists, the intern & success of YB and Shpongletron tour things are looking healthier.

True but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a poster for sale on Twisted’s site. I’m sure there are plenty of excuses but at the end of the day the label talks about being broke but constantly ignores requests from fans on merchandise they want to purchase.

They’ve had no problem selling lanyards and super expensive masks so I have no doubt they could get some posters made too. They could even put them up for sale and collect some capital and then order what they need, paying for everything involved.

I’m not trying to rag on the label but I’ve been browsing this forum for quite some time and always seeing requests for posters and never seen any acknowledgment that they will make them.

It’s all about priorities.

Doing some exclusive collectables as pledges would be a good idea if the capital is not there, or sales numbers are in doubt.

I’m sure I’d order something if they had some cool stuff, signed posters for example.

Well. Let people “pledge” for things to get made then.
Say they need at least 100 posters to be ordered at £10 to get them made. So make a pledge/show your interest. Even pay for it before it’s made. I think that would be a good solution. But who am I to talk…

I’d love some legit shpongle posters for my room, or YB. I think the Ineffable Mysteries artwork would make a lovely big poster, id def snatch a few up. On a side note though, some guy uploaded a high res shpongle mask image on here a while back, sorry I forget who, and i got that printed nice and big and its good quality, nearest thing to a proper poster i think for anybody who’s desperate, came out nice too.

The Ineffable Mysteries artwork has been produced as a print available from Stormsight which is Storm Thorgesons site, there are only 40 produced and they are stunning.

They are nice but this store needs something that is affordable and Strom’s prints are not what I would define as affordable.
