According to the B.O.M.B. fest website Shpongletron is headlining one of the smaller stages (I think Budweiser) at 8:30-10:00pm Saturday. I will be there likely passing out lollipops with the recently created Twisted IRC link on them, for promotional purposes I’ll give you two if you go!! LOL

goddamnit, i got the dates wrong—Shpongletron is SUNDAY nite, not Saturday, and now i might not be going :( :(
It is actually Hartford, Comcast Theater (the old Meadows), but the Sphongle events page says Danbury for some reason. No matter, though, we went today to see Dan Deacon and Shpongletron is listed right on the schedules posted all over the place. We’re still gonna try hard to make it tomorrow night (we already bought the passes), so wish me joy at my first Shpongle event
Just to let you know, you can get a ticket for today for $45.50 ($35 for half-price one day ticket + $10.50 US fees) online at livenation http://www.livenation.com/event/1D00468FBBC55FCE?crosssite=TM_US:1586613:237642 I assume you’d pick it up at the box office, which was absolutely dead yesterday when we went so there’d quite likely be no pesky line! Parking was even a breeze yesterday, the venue lot was free and there was plenty of open space. Not sure why, but this festival seems really dead this time. No crowds whatsoever, not even a little. So it might be an excellent chance to see Shphongletron close up Go a little early if you do, tho, cuz whoever IS there does seem to filter in right before the show, at least that’s how it was yesterday with Dan Deacon.. Anyway, have a great Memorial weekend if you still decide not to go
How was it? I didn’t go (planting all day + hour drive do not add well) but I’d be interested to know how it was. The meadows can be ... a show like this is probably best seen ‘not on the lawn’ ...
