Dont think that anyone has posted this yet, but this was one of the best sets of the weekend. Everything they played was super tight and fluent, all the performers onstage were amazing and the rain during the middle of the set was so perfectly timed. Reminds me of when Simon controlled the weather during that one DJ set of his at camp bisco VI (or maybe VII) he certainly has a weather knob on his mixer!

On top of all that the surprise sound check set at 10am was awesome too! They played about four songs I think it was practically a second set in itself!

Really, really good show. I love how the band has played with their arrangements. I get the impression that they’d be different every time you saw them, which is what I’d expect (keep it trippy). I *almost* have to agree with yabsolute that it’s the best live Shpongle I’ve heard. Almost, but not quite, I did see Shpongle live once so that has to be better than listening to on MP3. But what a freakin’ show. You can totally feel the vibe when Simon and Raj are addressing the audience- they LOVED it!

jah i really think the music has tightened up since the 2008 show. they almost have a jam band feel to their sound, which i mean in a good way. i hope they can actually start touring it sometime.
