Oh man, you are right about that one! The taste would be just as bad as the description cloudwalker gave on the taste of Kava, if not worse.
But out of all the drugs and psychedelics that I’ve experienced, that stuff Hoasca has proven to be the most top shelf substance! It’s as good as it gets being, juiced and boiled in with the finest of organic compounds, a cup of that is a cup of nature given medication. & the trip is a dreeaam, the best of them too, being comprised of DiaMethylTriptamine (The ‘Spirit Molecule”), one substance that is within your dome, with the entheogenic guiding light. Oh man it’s the most righteous liquid! & That’s why I say this tea Hoasca stomps the rest, but I understand there’s different reasons for drinking tea.
My favorite tea out of them all would have to be the jasmine blossom tea. the kind that you just drop that dried up flower into your pot. Watching that flower blossom in my eyes has always been a pleasure, plus the teas real soothing stuff. Love me some tea

That’s the information. Stuff’s legal and as the link says it’s ‘Harmless to the health’ . I’m serious about everything I say, it’s worth reading up. People practice here in the US, Europe, and it’s birthplace, Brazil.
